Barclay's Restaurant & Pub is located at 5940 College Avenue in Oakland, California. The phone number is 510-654-1650. Although this isn't a Berkeley restaurant, they're on the Berkeley/Oakland border, so I've included them in this Berkeley Restaurant Guide. Plus, they have one of the best selections of beer in the East Bay.
They are open Monday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to midnight. Saturday and Sunday brunches start at 10:00 a.m. They close at midnight on weekends, too. The kitchen closes at 11:00 p.m.

Great Beer, Great Food...as long as they get your order right. I asked for no cheese (because I am very allergic) on my crab sandwich and they brought it to me with cheese. I asked them to take it back, the waitress appologized (I had told her no cheese) and I told her again that I was very allergic to cheese. She brought it back, I ate it, and they must have just scraped off the cheese from the bread or something because when I got home I had a severe allergic reaction. Watch out folks with food allergies!!!
