Ethiopia Restaurant is my favorite Ethiopian Restaurant anywhere! It's located at 2955 Telegraph Avenue near Ashby Street in Berkeley, California. The phone number is 510-843-1992.

They boast that they have 792 possible vegetarian combinations for their Nene’wee. They also serve meat, of course.

I had my first Ethiopian food at this restaurant about twelve years ago, and it's still my favorite Ethiopian food anywhere (even when the Blue Nile was open). The one thing that is disappointing is that occasionally the Injera (traditional Ethiopian bread) seems a little too thick for my palate.
